Visteon Corporation Names Gordon Cole as Global Director of Public Affairs and
Ruth Bruch Vice President And Chief Information Officer

DEARBORN, Mich. - Visteon Corporation has named Gordon V. Cole as Global Director of Public Affairs. Cole comes to Visteon with more than 20 years of experience in Public Relations including reputation and brand management, employee and marketing communications, and media relations.

Cole will be responsible for developing and implementing a global public relations strategy that is aligned with the overall business plan of the corporation. Additionally, Cole will be charged with enhancing the reputation of Visteon and its leaders, supervising all major press events and media activities, and continue fostering relationships with key global media contacts.

Prior to his new role, Cole served as President of Levenson Public Relations in Dallas, Texas, a position he held since 1997. Before that, he was the Director of Account Services for Hedge & Company in Southfield, Mich., where he managed the agency/account relationship, staff development and training. 

Cole will succeed Denise Bither, who has elected to leave the company to devote more time to her family. Bither has been with Visteon since it launched in September 1997 and served as Global Director of Visteon's Public  Affairs since January 1998.

Cole holds a bachelor's degree in mass communications and media from Wayne State University in Detroit, Mich., and a master's degree in radio and TV from Butler University, in Indianapolis, Ind.

 

Visteon Corporation Names Ruth Bruch Vice President And Chief Information Officer

Dearborn, Mich. - Visteon Corporation has named Ruth E. Bruch Vice President and Chief Information Officer. Bruch comes to Visteon with 20 years of experience and a strong background in structuring successful Information Technology organizations.

Prior to this appointment, Bruch served as president of ZoneTrader.com, an equipment B-to-B exchange based in Chicago, Ill. Before that, she held the position of Vice President and CIO at Union Carbide Corp., where she managed the UCC Business Transformation Program and re-engineered the IT function into one, strong enterprise center of excellence.

Bruch also managed and developed Information Technology strategies for JGA Consulting, Continental Bank and the First Bank System.
