Volkswagen Group: SEAT SEAT is a Spanish company, owned by the Volkswagen Group, and is integrated into the Audi Brand Group. The company develops and produces models with an expressive design and a sporty, innovative character – values reflected in the brand’s claim “SEAT auto emoción”. The innovative and ground-breaking spirit of the company is clearly stamped on its seven model ranges (Alhambra, Arosa, Córdoba, Ibiza, Inca, León and Toledo). With the exception of the Alhambra, which is manufactured in Palmela (Portugal), all models are produced at the Martorell factory. The international character of the brand can be seen from the fact that its products are sold in 74 different countries, accounting for two thirds of the production. The expansion of the Commercial Network is also clearly appreciable from the 3,375 sales and service outlets available throughout the world. The company currently has a basic workforce of 13,222 employees and is committed to constant evolution through investment in the most advanced technologies. Proof of this is the Centro Técnico de SEAT, S.A., where more than 2,000 highly qualified employees work daily. The management of these R&D facilities offers SEAT a unique position among all car manufacturers established in Spain, since it is the only brand able to design, develop and produce its own vehicles.
