Ford Names Codina to Key Marketing Position
Codina held a number of field assignments in the United States prior to his service in Mexico and Argentina. Codina replaces George Murphy, who recently resigned. Codina will report to James O'Connor, Ford Motor Company vice president and president of Ford Division. "Cisco understands the connection between our customers and our brands," said O'Connor. "He also worked very closely with dealers in each of his markets. He brings a global perspective and a wealth of experience to his new position." Codina, 49, will be responsible for development and implementation of marketing strategies and programs for all Ford brand cars, trucks, sport utility vehicles and minivans sold in the United States. Codina holds a bachelor's degree in Marketing from the University of Alabama. (March 5, 2001) [Homepage] [
