enchanting mountains, is situated in 300 hectares of Mediterranean
vegetation, just a few steps away from one of the most beautiful
beaches in Sardinia. Part of the “Le Méridien Chia Laguna” is the
“Chia Village” with 300 rooms, the so-called cottages, and the "Hotel
Laguna" with 72 luxurious rooms, all sea facing with terraces or
balconies.
The hotel complex was built in 1989 and became
part of the international hotel group “Le Méridien” in 2003, which
now belongs to
the Starwood Hotel Group. During winter 2005/2006 all
the 72 rooms of the Hotel Laguna were completely redecorated and
refurbished. The new and elegantly appointed Superior and Deluxe
guest rooms, decorated in a typical contemporary Italian style,
offer ultimate luxury.

attention to “little details” featuring stunning Italian ceramics,
artwork and elegant fabrics. The spacious bathrooms with rainforest
showers and beautiful mosaics are provided with products of Bulgari cosmetics. Designed for maximum comfort and privacy, the new
guest rooms and suites are luxurious, inspiring and extremely
spacious.
The 300 cottage rooms were completely
redecorated in 2003. Some of them have a patio with a garden while
others have a balcony. Also part of the Chia Laguna Resort are three
outdoor pools, two tennis courts, a Mini Club for the kids and the
recently opened piazzetta “Degli Ulivi”, a wide entertainment area with
shops and bars.

The Chia Laguna Resort provides a wide choice
of dining options with seven restaurants offering typical Sardinian
and Mediterranean dishes, pizza, steaks and light snacks. With
beautiful views of the Chia bay, La Terrazza is the most elegant
restaurant. The
creative menus feature an appealing range of appetizers, grilled
seafood and meats - superbly executed behind live station, in front
of the guests - and tempting desserts.

is indeed not a typical buffet restaurant, in reality, it is
presenting the best and the freshest specialties the Italian cuisine
has to offer, so halfboard is really recommendable. The always
friendly staff provide impeccable service, creating an atmosphere that makes
everybody feel extremely comfortable and relaxed.
"Le Meridien Chia Laguna" is just 700 metres
away from the beach where the „trenolino“
shuttles the guests every 15 minutes. The short drive passes along
the Pitch&Putt golf course which was opened in 2003 as the first golf
course in Chia. The driving range offers professional support
for those who are always working on their game.

The beaches surrounding the Chia Laguna Resort
are rated among the best of the island. The private beach with its
own live guard is equipped with comfortable deck chairs and sun
shades. A kiosk is selling cold drinks, hot espresso,
sandwiches or ice cream. In the back of the dunes, the restaurant
“Le Dune di Campana“ is the perfect place to spend lunch time with
light Mediterranean dishes or a good pizza.

The Congress Center is perfect for events of all kinds.
With seven meeting rooms, it is the largest meeting area in
Sardinia, which holds up to 2,000 guests. A large exhibition area of
more than 600 square meters is also available. Flexibility of
meeting rooms facilitates the organization of any event or show.
Basic technical equipment is included in the room hire, while
advanced equipment is available on site upon request.
