Crewe - Bentley Motors is delighted to have received an award for engineering excellence at the Corus IvehE Motor Show Awards 2000. The Bentley Arnage Red Label won the award in the '2 to 5 door car over £50,000 category', beating other leading luxury cars including the Mercedes S Class and the BMW 7 series. 

Professor Jon King, president of the Institute of Vehicle Engineers explained the judges' decision, "In keeping with all that the Bentley marque implies, the Arnage is a potent mix of power and poise. The interior integrates exciting traditional instrumentation with high quality veneers and leather – the ideal car for those who value exclusivity, power and comfort."

Receiving the award at the Gala dinner yesterday, Malcolm Wade, managing director of UK Operations said, "We are absolutely thrilled that the Bentley Arnage Red Label has received this award for engineering excellence. Since launching this car just a year ago, we have had positive reaction from media, customers and the industry alike.
