Oxford Automotive, Inc. Acquires Leading German Automotive Supplier, Wackenhut GmbH

TROY, Mich., June 29, 1999 - Oxford Automotive, Inc. has signed an agreement to purchase leading German automotive supplier Gebr.Wackenhut GmbH, based in Nagold, Germany. Oxford Automotive Inc. President and Chief Executive Officer Steven M. Abelman made the announcement today. "Wackenhut is a perfect strategic acquisition for Oxford Automotive. It has a history of innovation and problem solving in addition to being a supplier of first rate products," said Mr. Abelman.
