Senior Management Changes Announced at Chrysler Group

  • Theodore (Ted) Cunningham, Executive Vice President Global Sales and Marketing
  • Chrysler/Plymouth/Jeep®/Dodge retires from the company
  • Kathleen Oswald, Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) retires from the company
  • Antonio (Tony) Cervone, Vice President Chrysler Group Communications resigns
  • DaimlerChrysler Appoints Kenneth Levy to senior Chrysler Group Communications post. 

Auburn Hills / Stuttgart - DaimlerChrysler announced a number of senior management changes for the Chrysler Group. The announcement follows Friday's announcement of the DaimlerChrysler Supervisory Board's approval of new management for the Chrysler Group, including Dieter Zetsche as new President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Wolfgang Bernhard as Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Kathleen Oswald, Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), has announced her decision to retire from the company, effective immediately. The position of CAO will be discontinued.

Theodore (Ted) Cunningham, Executive Vice President Global Sales and Marketing Chrysler/Plymouth/Jeep®/Dodge has also announced his intention to retire from the company, effective immediately. His successor will be named at a later date.

Effective immediately, Antonio (Tony) Cervone, Vice President Chrysler Group Communications resigns from the senior communications post and is succeeded by Kenneth A. Levy, who is appointed Vice President - Communications for the Chrysler Group.

In this position, Levy will report to Dieter Zetsche, new President and CEO of the Chrysler Group and to Christoph Walther, Senior Vice President and Head of DaimlerChrysler Global Communications. His responsibilities will include all Chrysler Group Corporate and Product Communications as well as Internal Communications.
