| CARSON, Calif. - Nissan North America, Inc., announced that
effective immediately, Debra Sanchez Fair, 39, will be promoted to the position of Vice
President, Corporate Communications. Sanchez Fair will be replacing Jason Vines who
recently left the company to pursue other business interests. Sanchez Fair will report
directly to Nobuo Araki, president, NNA. Sanchez Fair, a 17 year industry veteran, will
oversee all corporate communications activities for Nissan's North American operations,

background, including nearly 10 years at Nissan, will provide a seamless transition for
the corporate communications department," said Nobuo Araki.
