Renault signs a partnership agreement with The Guggenheim Museum Foundation in Bilbao
.
On Friday February 25, Patrick le Quément, Renault's Senior Vice President, Corporate Design, and Josu Bergara, President of the Executive Committee of the Guggenheim Foundation, Bilbao, signed a five-year partnership agreement. Renault has, thus, joined the exclusive club that is the governing body of Bilbao's Guggenheim Museum, thereby associating its image with one of the most innovative and avant-garde architectural achievements of the twentieth century.

Patrick le Quément, Renault's Senior Vice President, Corporate Design, and Josu Bergara, President of the Executive Committee of the Guggenheim Foundation, Bilbao, signed the five-year partnership agreement in the presence of Juan Antonio Moral, Chairman and CEO, FASA Renault, and Juan Ignacio Vidarte, Director of the Guggenheim Museum.

Inaugurated in 1997, Bilbao's Guggenheim Museum is a famous example of daring and avant-garde architecture, a living work of art echoing social change and the progression of modern values. Much in the same way as this museum, to which no other museum can begin to compare, Renault has for some years now been investing in the values of creativity, innovation and daring through its products with their innovative design and architecture. Espace, Twingo, Scenic, Kangoo, and now Avantime, all contribute to the constant evolution of the automobile in anticipation of ever-evolving customer expectations.

Thanks to this agreement, Renault becomes the 39th member of the governing body of Bilbao's Guggenheim Museum Foundation. In exchange for its support of the Foundation, Renault will henceforth take part in the management of the museum and will benefit from a certain number of advantages, notably the possibility of associating its image with that of the Guggenheim Museum.
