As Vice President
- U.S. Operations, Maxwell is responsible for all LEED operations in the U.S., including
plant locations. Maxwell joined Lear in 1994
as Human Resource Manager for the General Motors Division, and has 20 years of experience
in the automotive industry.
Maxwell earned a
Bachelor of Arts degree in Business and English from Albion College in Albion, Mich.
(USA). He currently resides in Northville,
Mich., with his wife, Kay, and their son. In her new role, Cummings is responsible for
personnel and human resource issues relating to the LEED group.
Cummings joined
Lear in October 1989 as Human Resource Administrator at the company's Romulus, Mich.,
plant. She most recently served as Director -
Human Resources for Lear's DaimlerChrysler Division.
Prior to joining Lear, she held numerous teaching and counseling positions
at various levels of education.
Cummings holds a
Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Montclair State University in Upper Montclair,
N.J.; a Master of Arts degree in Counseling from Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti,
Mich.; and a Master of Science in Administration degree from Central Michigan University
in Mt. Pleasant, Mich. She resides in
Plymouth, Mich., with her husband, Michael.
