Lear Corporation Appoints Cynthia
Henderson Ford Division Vice President - Quality

| SOUTHFIELD, Mich. - Lear Corporation announced the
appointment of Cynthia Henderson as Vice President - Quality for the Ford Division. In
her new position, Henderson will be responsible for all aspects of quality, delivery and
warranty as it relates to Lear's Ford business. She will report to Lear's Ford Division
President, Charles E. Fisher. |

| Henderson joined Lear in May 1999, as Director of
Global Supplier Development, with responsibility for global supply base management. Her
experience includes eight years with Ford Motor Company in various quality control,
manufacturing engineering and production supervision positions at Ford's Wixom Assembly
Plant. Prior to joining Lear, she was Director of Quality, Center of Excellence for United
Technology Automotive Electrical Systems. Henderson earned a Bachelor of Science
degree in Economics from Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan, and a
Masters of Arts degree in Industrial Relations from Wayne State University in Detroit,
Michigan. Henderson was named to the Crain's Detroit Business 40 under 40 for 1999.
Henderson and her family reside in Commerce Township, Michigan.
