Hyundai Motor Company Breaks Ground in Montgomery, Ala.
Company's First U.S. Automotive Plant to Create 2,000 Jobs and Boost Regional Economy
On April 16, Hyundai Motor Company and Alabama Governor Don Siegelman will host a groundbreaking for Hyundai's first automotive plant in the U.S. with a ceremonial groundbreaking in Montgomery, Alabama. The new facility will be built on approximately 1,620 acres; will employ nearly 2,000 people and manufacture 300,000 vehicles each year.
