In 2002 the total revenue of the group was
close to 130 Mill. Euro with an income before tax of almost 20 Mill.
Euro.

More than 1,100 employees work for these
companies. Italdesign Giugiareo is equipped with more than 650 CAS-CAD-CAE
and CAM stations.
In the manufacturing area they keep16 NC
grinders, 12 presses of various tonnage, 6 laser cutting robots, 15
measuring and size detecting systems and 3 prototype assembly and
construction lines.
In
200/2001 the Group acquired 70% of the share capital of 3 E -
European Engineering
Enterprise
S.r.l. of Beinasco (Turin), which provides industrial design and
engineering services for the automobile sectors.
The enterprise, with which the Turin Group has collaborated
in the recent past, was set up in the first six months of
2000 and, at the time of writing, sees about 40 specialized
technicians engaged in the design and engineering of sports
cars and mass-produced vehicles with specific skills in
carbon technologies and aeronautics, nautical and railway
engineering.
Because of
the importance of the French market,
which accounted for approximately 20% of the consolidated
value of revenue in 2000, the Group established IDG
Italdesign-Gallizio in partnership with Arrigo Gallizio,
who will hold a 30% equity interest in the company.
Headquartered at Buc, within the Paris hinterland, IDG
Italdesign-Gallizio employes about 100 engineers.
