Ferrari is a small but well known brand in the automotive
world. In the past six years, Ferrari SpA has completely changed its model
line-up producing no less 12 new models or variants in that time; restructuring
its entire international sales network and created a revised and highly

The new models,
as FerrariF355 Spider, 456M and 550 Modena were lately enriched by the
Ferrari F430.
With the introduction of the new model substantial investments in the
Ferrari factory were made. In the beginning of 1998 a state-of-the art
wind tunnel, planned by Renzo Piano was build at Maranello.
Ferrari is producing an average of 3,500 cars a year. Ferrari proundly
introduced its tailor made program – Carrozzeria Scagliette – which gives
Ferrari clients the opportunity of personalizing their cars with specific
items. Its newest release is the F430, introduced at
the Paris Auto Show September 2004.
With the F430 Ferrari signals the
arrival of a brand new generation of Ferrari 8-cylinder models. This
new car takes Ferrari’s extraordinary achievements with aluminium
technology, begun with the 360 Modena, to a whole new level.

The F430 signals the
arrival of a brand new generation of Ferrari 8-cylinder models. This
new car takes Ferrari’s extraordinary achievements with aluminium
technology, begun with the 360 Modena, to a whole new level, and
offers a series of extremely significant innovations directly derived
from the Ferrari Formula 1 single-seaters.
Styled by Pininfarina,
this is the first Ferrari GT car that is entirely constructed from aluminium,
while the eight-cylinder 3.6 litre engine is one of the most powerful
ever built by Ferrari – developing 400bhp at 8500rpm. Furthermore, the
car can be equipped with Ferrari’s revolutionary F1 transmission.
The 456 M in
its GT and automatic GTA versions is the evolution of a very popular concept
amongst Ferrari clients who want a real Ferrari with the practicality
of rear seats for twom additional passengers.
The front-engine
layout is a return to some of Ferrari’s models of the past, but it also
reflects the model strategy of the future. With 485 bhp, the 550 Maranello
is one of the most powerful road-going GT cars Ferrari has ever produced.

The two 8-cylinder cars join the two 12-cylinder
models - the 550 Maranello that marked Ferrari's return to the front-engine,
rear-wheel drive set-up for its high performance GTs, and the 456M GT
and GTA (the latter the automatic version) which caters for the traditionally
popular demand for 2+2s.
