SULZBACH, Germany - Lear Corporation announced that it has
appointed Hubert Kloss as Vice President and General Manager of Lear's customer service
center in Boblingen, Germany. Hans Osenstatter, currently Vice President and General
Manager of Lear's customer service center in Ingolstadt, Germany, is now responsible for
Lear's customer service center in Wolfsburg. Both will be reporting to Gunther Mecklinger,
President - Premium Car Group for Lear Corporation. In his new role, Kloss will be
responsible for Lear's customer activities with DaimlerChrysler and Porsche. He is based
in Böblingen. Kloss joined Lear in 1997, as Director - Purchasing, Premium Car Group
following Lear's acquisition of Keiper Car Seating. Prior to that, he held a number of
positions in purchasing and materials with Keiper Recaro and served in the German Air
Force for seven years.
Kloss earned a Master's degree in Business Administration from the Business Academy in
Blieskastel/Saar, Germany. Expanding his current responsibilities, Osenstatter will assume
responsibility for Lear Corporation's customer service center in Wolfsburg, which supports
Volkswagen. Based in Gaimersheim, Germany, Osenstatter will continue in his role as Vice
President and General Manager for Lear's customer service center supporting Audi.
Osenstatter joined Lear in 1995 as engineering manager, following Lear's acquisition of
Plastifol. Since that time, he has assumed a number of quality, engineering and sales
positions with Lear Corporation in Germany. He most recently served as senior sales
executive for Lear's Premium Car Group, in Ebersberg, Germany. Osenstatter also held
positions in design and engineering with Bosch-Siemens and Korting-Radio-Werke.
Osenstatter earned an engineering degree in polymers from Rosenheim College, in
Rosenheim, Germany.
