| Casablanca, Morocco
- Ford Middle East & North Africa (MENA) and its Moroccan dealer, SCAMA / Groupe Auto
Hall, have unveiled the Ford Focus at a news conference on the eve of Casablanca's Auto
Expo 2000, which runs until May 13th. As it makes its
public debut in the Kingdom, the highly acclaimed and eagerly awaited vehicle is set to
woo consumers in Morocco, in the wake of its successful launches to other world markets.
"Besides offering our customers new state-of-the-art choices, the Focus once again
demonstrates the commitment of Ford and SCAMA to growing our customer base in this part of
the world," said Kurt Peterson, regional marketing manager of Ford MENA.
"We are determined to offer our customers a full-line of vehicles that they
connect to, and identify with," he added. "This is the core of Ford Motor
Company's strategy: focusing on our consumers and responding to their needs by offering
them the vehicles they desire."

Ford Focus |
| The proof of Ford Focus' overwhelming success and
popularity lies in the 25 awards it received in 17 countries, since its debut in Europe 18
months ago. Also, for the first time ever in the automotive industry, Focus was honoured
with two of the world's most respected car awards: the European Car of the Year (1999) and
the North American Car of the Year (2000). In the first 12 months since its
introduction, the Focus had achieved over 500,000 confirmed customer orders.
2000 Ford Fiesta Ambiente |
| The brand new 2000 Ford Fiesta also makes its public debut in
Morocco at the Auto Expo 2000 Casablanca, bringing customers even more fun in their
driving experience. Its striking, new front-end design signals a range of styling and
functional improvements for one of Europe's best-selling small cars. |

Ford Fiesta |
| Externally, dramatic new trapezoid headlamps and
the crisp lines of the Fiesta's new front wings, bonnet and bumpers are typical of the
'New Edge' design cues seen on the latest Ford models, like Ka and Focus. Adopting the
same design language for the Fiesta reinforces the car's position at the heart of the Ford
family, as well as highlighting shared characteristics, notably an emphasis on real
driving enjoyment and exemplary safety standards. Under the skin, the five-door model
takes the acclaimed driving dynamics of Ford's small car to levels worthy of a bigger one.
It also comes in two versions: 1.8L Diesel engine with a gross power of 44 kW at 4800 rpm,
and a torque of 105 Nm at 2,500 rpm; and the 1.3L Endura Efi engine (44kW at 5,000rpm)
with a torque of 103 Nm at 2,500rpm.

| Ford's Smallest Head Turner - KA Another eye catcher
at the Ford / SCAMA stand is the fun and stylish KA. At the forefront of Ford's "New
Edge" design concept, the KA features unique and individual styling elements and a
minimalist approach resulting in elegant sophistication.
|

Ford Ka Silver |
| Like any other Ford vehicle, the KA also takes
care of the driver with a standard safety package encompassing passenger seatbelts, driver
airbag, and front and side impact beams. Recently awarded the title of 2000 Middle East
Car of the Year in its category, KA stands as proof that a small car can be big in
personality and substance.
|
| Ford Mondeo Considered as the vehicle that first
brought superior driving dynamics to the family car, Ford Mondeo's range available in
Morocco now features three models - the Mondeo 1.8L, Mondeo 1.8L Turbo Diesel/Intercooler
(TDI) and Mondeo Ghia 2.0L - available in 4-door and 5-door body types, bringing a fresh
dynamic look to the customers.
