Faced with the risks and the opportunities linked to urban mutation, the "Institute for Movement in the Town" does not propose to deliver a fully comprehensive answer. What it hopes to do is bring together as many diverse skills and approaches as possible to deepen the knowledge of reality, to allow for the experimentation and transposition of innovating solutions.

The "Institute for Movement in the Town" is a society (1901 law). Its Scientific and Orientation Council will be the melting pot for its ideas and its actions at the same time as being the guarantor of its plSaline Royale d'Arc et Senans, the working groups (stemming from the world of research and enterprise) will also be exploring the following avenues :

Consideration of what needs to be put in place to ensure that urban displacement (by individuals or groups of people) is carried out in a civil manner. Use of new technology (satellite positioning, telecommunication using mobiles, etc,...) to assist in the mobility of disabled persons.

Based on an approach that is both scientific and practical, the "Institute for Movement in the Town" wishes to create a crossroads where those who think of the town, those who are involved there and those who live there can all meet together.
