Heller To Lead Ford
European Quality Drive |

| COLOGNE, Germany - Ford has announced the appointment of Peter
Heller to a newly-established position as Vice President, Quality, for Ford of Europe. He will have responsibility for all quality functions in the key operational areas of product development, manufacturing and supplier technical assistance and to enhance and build on the strengths of Ford of Europe's customer satisfaction initiatives. Formerly Director of Manufacturing, Plant Group Number Two, Vehicle Operations, Mr Heller reports directly to David Thursfield, President, Ford of Europe and also becomes a member of Ford's European Operating Committee. He has held numerous international positions in Ford's German manufacturing operations. |

| At the same time, it is announced that Hans Schardt has been
appointed Director, European Vehicle Operations, with responsibility for all Vehicle
Operations plants in Europe. He was previously Director of Manufacturing, Plant Group
Number One, Vehicle Operations. Also, John Crew, currently Director of Manufacturing, B
Car Strategy, will additionally assume responsibility for Southampton Body and Assembly
