Rolls-Royce unveils
Wraith to Northern an Centrl China Customers at Art Zone Beijing

Beijing -
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars unveiled the highly anticipated new model,
Wraith, at a closed-room event in Beijing Art Zone. The latest addition
to the Rolls-Royce family was unveiled to Northern and Central China
customers in a creatively refreshing Art Park that reflects Wraith’s
unique character defined by power, style and drama.
Wraith is the boldest,
most dramatic and powerful Rolls-Royce prototype that exemplifies the
renowned Spirit of the Ecstasy figurine. Featuring a contemporary
two-door design, Wraith’s striking fastback body epitomises power, style
and drama – inspired by the great Grand Tourers of the Fifties and
Sixties.

In profile, Wraith’s sweeping fastback
design gives the car its unique iconic character. Bold lines, tension in
the panels and a raked rear screen evoke the image of a world class
athlete poised in the starting blocks. Further expression of its dynamic
character can be seen in Wraith’s deeply recessed grille, wide rear
track and dramatic two-tone presentation.

“We are extremely proud
to present the one and only Wraith here in Beijing. Wraith is a fresh
demonstration of the spirit of Rolls-Royce – a contemporary, elegant
design for a new era of the world’s most iconic car marque.” Henrik
Wilhelmsmeyer, Director for Mainland China for Rolls-Royce Motor Cars
said, “Today, Mainland China constitutes one of the largest single
markets for Rolls-Royce. One out of four cars that we produce in
Goodwood is being driven on the streets of Chinese cities. The
Rolls-Royce phenomenon in China is the result of our ethos in the
pursuit of excellence. This market will continue to be part of the
engine that drives us on the path to further growth, and push us forward
to even greater achievements, this year and for years to come.”
The car will travel
across Southern China in the coming weeks, providing an opportunity for
invited guests to preview the new member of the Rolls-Royce family.
