Retrofit for third row of seats in Touran - more flexibility for the five-seater

Wolfsburg - Volkswagen is now offering a retrofit for a third row of seats in the Touran compact van. In this way, all customers who have purchased a five-seater vehicle now have the opportunity to add two extra seats. Young families in particular can respond flexibly to new situations as a result. The price of the complete retrofit set is 990 euro for the version with normal seats and 1380 euro for the leather seat version. The costs for installation at a Volkswagen dealer are not included in this price. The Touran, which was recently voted "Most sensible car 2004" by the specialist magazine "Guter Rat", has further improved its top position in the van segment. The registration figures provided by the German authorities indicate a market share for April of 25.1 percent making it the most popular van in Germany.

Three equipment variants of the Touran are available with a choice of eight dynamic and economical engine/gearbox configurations from 75 kW/102 PS to 110 kW/150 PS. The Touran is available at prices starting from 20 275 euros.
