Woodcliff Lake, NJ - BMW has
introduced an all-new integrated DVD-based entertainment package for the
new X3 SAV. This cutting-edge package includes two 7-inch Active Matrix
Screens fitted into the front headrests and a DVD player mounted in the
center console. Two wireless dual-channel headphones and a wireless remote
control for rear seat operation complete this innovative package. Rear
seat passengers may view DVDs on one side, and play games using the
auxiliary audio and video inputs on the other side, since the system has
two separate left-right channels. In addition, separate headphones can be
used with a spare headphone jack for wired headphones. The price for the
package is only $1,995 plus installation at any Authorized BMW SAV center. |

"We are proud to be
leaders in introducing new hi-tech products such as the Bluetooth
hands-free phone, SIRIUS Satellite radio, and the BMW iPod Adapter. Our
new Rear Seat Entertainment System is unique and perfectly suited to the
X3. We see the demand for new and innovative in-vehicle entertainment
options continuing to grow. Our vehicle accessory strategy will provide
BMW drivers with choices that are focused on improving the driving
experience," said Alan Harris, Vice President, Aftersales, for BMW of
North America.
