Cadillac Announces Competitive Pricing For 2004 SRX

DETROIT - Cadillac announced pricing for its new 2004 Cadillac SRX medium luxury utility scheduled to hit dealerships early this fall. With V-6 models starting at $37,995 MSRP (excluding destination freight charge of $695), the SRX, when popularly equipped, is competitively priced with other medium luxury utilities.

The SRX V-6 price includes standard equipment such as a 3.6L V-6 VVT engine with 260 horsepower, 5-speed automatic with Driver Shift Control, RWD, StabiliTrak, speed-sensitive variable effort steering, four-channel ABS with Panic Brake Assist and traction control, power adjustable second row, side curtain airbags, theater seating, leather seating surfaces, one year OnStar Directions & Connections Service and much more.

 

In addition, a V-8 model of the SRX starting at $46,300 (not including DFC of $695) also is available. The V-8 model includes all the standard equipment offered on the V-6 model, plus the next-generation Northstar V-8 VVT engine with 320 hp; 18 inch wheels, reconfigurable storage, universal garage door opener, 6 CD changer, power passenger seat, wood trim, heated seats and power adjust pedals.

"SRX is a luxury utility with the soul of a sport sedan," said Jay Spenchian, marketing director. "Its Cadillac bloodline is clearly evident in its bold styling - a look that clearly sets it apart from its competitors."

Other optional features available on the V-6 and V-8 models include AWD, power third row seat, Ultra View or Ultra View Plus sunroof, rear seat entertainment, DVD navigation, Magnetic Ride Control, XM Satellite Radio, a Bose sound system with six-CD in-dash changer and much more.

2004 Cadillac SRX Highlights:

Two new engines available: next-generation 4.6L Northstar V-8 VVT with 320 horsepower and 3.6L V-6 VVT with 260 horsepower

Two five-speed automatic transmissions available: Hydra-Matic 5L50-E with the 4.6L V-8 VVT and Hydra-Matic 5L40-E with the 3.6L V-6 VVT

RWD and optional AWD available

Seats up to seven with the optional third-row seat

UltraView sunroof over first and second row - largest opening in segment

Segment-first, optional Magnetic Ride Control real-time damping system

Speed-sensitive variable effort steering

Four-channel ABS with Panic Brake Assist and traction control

Four-channel StabiliTrak

Optional rear cargo management system available as an alternative to third row
