The best image in Germany has Porsche Stuttgart sports car manufacturer wins top place again in current "Imageprofile" study
Porsche 911 Targa Photo: Porsche Stuttgart/Hamburg - Which company has the best reputation in Germany? Last year, the Hamburg-based "Manager Magazin" posed this question again to management personnel in the German economy. The results of the new survey are now available under the title "Imageprofile 2002" and the answer was unequivocal: the majority of the 2,500 participating top managers from the executive, management and secondary management levels voted for Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG, Stuttgart. The Swabian sports car manufacturer therefore leads the ranking for the second time running in the image study carried out every two years by the Emnid Institute in Bielefeld and commissioned by "Manager Magazin". As in the year 2000, Porsche not only claimed first place among the car manufacturers in the current survey, but was also the overall winner in all categories once again. With 864 of a possible 1,000 points, the Stuttgart-based company even managed to improve on its top score from the “Imageprofile 2000” by another eleven points. In the "Imageprofile" cross-industry overall ranking, BMW and Audi took second and third places this year with 854 points and 825 points respectively. They were followed in positions four to ten by the companies Coca-Cola, DaimlerChrysler, Volkswagen, Nokia, Siemens and Sony (joint eighth) and the FAZ Group. (January 24, 2002) [Homepage] [
