Change at Audi Design

  • Walter Maria de Silva to assume responsibility for Design within the Audi brand group
  • Gerhard Pfefferle to become Head of Design for the Audi brand

Ingolstadt - In the wake of restructuring measures within the Audi brand group, there will be the following personnel changes as of 1 March 2002:

Walter Maria de Silva, 50, will assume responsibility for Design within the Audi brand group, which includes the Lamborghini and SEAT brands in addition to Audi. De Silva will also continue to head the SEAT brand's design division.

Gerhard Pfefferle, 55, Head of Exterior Design for the Volkswagen brand, will become Head of Design for the Audi brand.

Peter Schreyer, 48, previously responsible for Audi Design, is moving to the Volkswagen brand where he will be Head of Design.
