Subaru to Debut New 2002 Outback H6-3.0 Sedan And U.S. Rally Racing Team at New York Auto Show

CHERRY HILL, N.J. - Subaru of America, Inc., a pioneer of crossover all-wheel drive vehicles designed for the active lifestyle, will introduce the new 2002 Outback H6-3.0 VDC sedan and Subaru Rally Team USA at the New York Auto Show on April 12, 2001.

Available this summer, the 2002 Outback H6-3.0 VDC sedan features Vehicle Dynamics Control or VDC, which senses impending loss of vehicle control, and automatically adjusts to help maintain vehicle traction and stability.

A cooperative effort between Subaru of America, Inc., Subaru Tecnica International (STi) and Prodrive, Subaru Rally Team USA will compete in the 2001 SCCA (Sports Car Club of America) ProRally series in the 2002 Subaru Impreza WRX. The reveal is scheduled for 12:15 p.m. on April 12, Subaru Booth (level 1), at the Jacob Javits convention center.
