Paris Auto Show 2000
Paris, France
September 30 - October 15, 2000

Overview  - Page 1 - Page 2 - Page 3 -

Alfa Romeo

The new car, called the Alfa 147, is a hatchback and will go on sale at the end of October. The 4.16 meter long, 1.70 meter wide Alfa 147 is a good-looking, spirited car that offers performance, safety, equipment and comfort comparable to that of much higher category models.

AUDI

  • 5-series update
  • 6 cylinder engines with
    • 2.2 liter/125kW
    • 2.5 liter/141kW
    • 3 liter/170kW

Based on the newest generation BMW 3 Series coupe, known internally as E46, the M3 begins with a more rigid body structure than even it's highly competent predecessor - a car which in race trim, won the Sports Car GT racing championship 3 years in a row.

The unveiling of the British-built MINI COOPER will take place at the Paris Motor Show on Thursday 28 September 2000. Today, the first official pictures of the new car have been released in advance of this debut.

Bugatti

The high performance design concept, with a 16-cylinder engine, commemorates the former Bugatti factory driver, Pierre Veyron. A Frenchman, he achieved numerous racing successes for the marque, culminating in a spectacular victory in the Le Mans 24-hour race in 1939.
