• At the North American Auto show Audi’s Len Hunt reported an increase of 39% in revenues in 1999or 69,000 cars sold. Revenue increase for 2000 is estimated with only 13 to 15%. The focus of 200 is set on consolidating the sales network and to stabilized customer relations. Product wise Audi introduced the Audi Allroad Quatro, a version of the A6 with modified wheels.

• BMW is will present the new 3 series convertible 323Ci with a 170 horsepower straight-six power unit and seat belts integrated in the front seats,
