• Highlight will be the presentation of the Volkswagen D1, the high end car to be produced in the transparent factory in Dresden.
• Bugatti will  show the EB 18/3 Chiron study, also publihed as a convertible
• Overview of Volkswagen's innovations, stated at the IAA.
• Polo: extensively revamped (world premiere). Engine range comprises eight variants with output ranging from 60 bhp (44 kW) to 129 bhp (92 kW). A three-cylinder TDI version (pump-injector) with 1.4 litre displacement and 75 bhp (55 kW) is new.
