Diana
Tremblay Named New Director Of Manufacturing, Luton Plant Diana
Tremblay (40) has been appointed Director of Manufacturing at Vauxhall's
Luton Plant and elected to the Board of Directors, effective November 6th
2000. She
replaces Chris Gubbey, who moved in October to become Executive
Vice-President of GM China's operations in Shanghai. Diana
joins Vauxhall from the GM Labour Relations Unit in Detroit where she has
been Director from 1996. Prior to that she has held several senior
managerial roles within GM Powertrain, most recently at the Toledo engine
plant. She
has a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Administration from the Kettering
University (formerly the General Motors Institute) and a Master's in
Business Administration from the Massachusetts' Institute of Technology.

Mrs Tremblay to the Board of Directors, Nick Reilly, Vauxhall's Chairman
and Managing Director said: "Diana arrives at the Luton Plant at a
very exciting time and her engineering, manufacturing and people skills
will be a tremendous asset to us all." Mrs
