Triulzi began his GM career at the former GM Parts Division in 1977 and served as a district manager in a variety of U.S. locations with his first international assignment being Puerto Rico, responsible for the Caribbean.

In the early 80's, Triulzi was transferred to Saudi Arabia as a district manager and three years later was appointed the area sales manager for the Middle East and Africa based in Dubai. Returning to Detroit in 1987, he served as director for both marketing and sales functions for SPO International.

Two years later, he became head of GM Espana aftersales based in Madrid. He holds this position until assuming his new assignment at SPO in January.

A native of Charlotte, N.C., Triulzi received a bachelor's degree in liberal arts from North Carolina State University-Raleigh in 1974. He also attended both the Harvard University (Mass.) and INSEAD (France) executive management programs.
