LONDON, England - Ford Motor Company today announced the
senior leadership team for its new luxury 4x4 off-road manufacturer Land Rover.
Reporting directly
to Dr Wolfgang Reitzle, President, Premier Automotive Group, the London-based luxury
division of Ford Motor Company, will be Robert A Dover, Chairman and Chief Executive
Officer. Mr Dover is currently Chairman of Aston Martin Lagonda.
Wolfgang Reitzle
said: "Bob brings a wealth of product and business experience in the premium
automotive business with him. He has held many positions within the family of Ford,
including at Aston Martin and at Jaguar. I am delighted to have such a strong product
person leading the new team."
Reporting to Bob
Dover will be the following:
o Matthew Taylor, Director, Marketing &
Sales
o Steve Ross, Director, Product Development
o Marin Burela, Director, Manufacturing
o Steve Jones, Director, Purchasing
o David Smith, Director, Finance
"I am very
pleased that we can announce our new Land Rover senior management so shortly after the
acquisition. This will ensure a successful transition and will enhance our commitment to
Land Rover employees, customers and suppliers," said Dr Reitzle.
The newly formed
management group will be concentrating on transition issues ahead of Ford formally taking
control of Land Rover (subject to regulatory approval) expected to be July 1st.

Ford Motor Company
and BMW signed a definitive agreement for Ford to buy the Land Rover business from BMW on
May 24 for 3 billion euros.
