Jaguar S-Type manufacturing

Currently, Jaguar has 2 plants, Browns Lane and Castle Bromwich. They both are only miles away from each other, which allows to split body and assembly. With the introduction of the S-type, its production is focused within one plant.

The X 400 will broaden the manufacturing basis of Jaguar by adding Halewood, the old Ford Escord plant to the portfolio. Jaguar will then produce in 3 sites and the volume will grow to about 200,000 units a year.
 

 The F-type concept car was handmade. Here you see a designer working on the bodysides of the F-type.
