Pricing for the well-equipped Civic LX starts at $16,310 for the coupe and $16,510 for the sedan. The full-featured Civic EX starts at $18,260 for both the coupe and sedan models. Civic Hybrid and Civic Si pricing will be announced closer to each vehicle's on-sale date in October and December, respectively. Civic Sedan and Civic Coupe models offer their most powerful and fuel efficient powertrain to date with a 140 horsepower(i), 1.8-liter SOHC i-VTEC 4-cylinder engine and a 5-speed manual transmission. Civics equipped with the available automatic transmission achieve a city/highway EPA rated fuel economy of 30/40 miles per gallon. The 1.8-liter i-VTEC engine meets ULEV-2 emission rating standards. The Civic Hybrid provides the ultimate in clean and efficient technology with a 1.3-liter i-VTEC engine and a new generation of Honda's Integrated Motor Assist (IMA) technology that helps the hybrid achieve an estimated city/highway fuel economy of 50/50(ii) miles per gallon and an Advanced-Technology Partial Zero Emissions Vehicle (AT-PZEV) rating. The Civic Si showcases the high-performance potential of the Civic platform and offers a 197 horsepower(i), DOHC 2.0-liter i-VTEC engine connected to a 6-speed manual transmission and a limited slip differential.
