This fall, Dodge joins the party with the most spacious and versatile pickup ever, the all-new 2006 Ram Mega Cab. Dodge today announced pricing for the all-new 2006 Ram Mega Cab. With best-in-class interior room and comfort, available HEMI(R) and Cummins power and performance, and a truckload of entertainment features, the Dodge Ram Mega Cab offers the world's largest pickup cab. The U.S. Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) for the all-new 2006 Dodge Ram Mega Cab is $32,760, which includes $900 for destination. "For less than $33,000, you get the largest pickup truck cab on the planet, along with features never before offered in a crew cab pickup, including unsurpassed interior cargo volume and the first reclining rear seats in the industry," said Darryl Jackson, Vice President - Dodge Marketing, Chrysler Group. "Compared to the competition, Dodge Ram Mega Cab offers more in terms of power, strength, space, comfort, innovation, features and overall value." Available in Ram 1500, 2500 and 3500 models, all 2006 Dodge Ram Mega Cab pickup trucks are built on the Dodge Ram Heavy Duty platform. Chassis, frame, axles, wheels and signature Dodge Ram Heavy Duty Cummins Turbo Diesel and HEMI engines provide maximum power and payload capability. Two trim levels -- SLT and Laramie -- are available with Dodge Ram Mega Cab 1500, 2500 and 3500 models. 2006 Dodge Ram Mega Cab 1500 The all-new 2006 Dodge Ram Mega Cab 1500 model features a standard 5.7- liter HEMI V-8 engine with a five-speed automatic transmission and boasts a maximum payload of 2,430 lbs., maximum trailer weight of 8,750 lbs. and Gross Combined Weight Rating (GCWR) of 15,000 lbs. 2006 Dodge Ram Mega Cab 2500 The all-new 2006 Dodge Ram Mega Cab 2500 model also comes standard with the 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 engine and a five-speed automatic transmission. In addition, the 5.9-liter Cummins Turbo Diesel is available, with a new standard six-speed manual or optional automatic transmission. Maximum payload for the Dodge Ram Mega Cab 2500 model is 2,650 lbs., with a maximum trailer weight of 13,000 lbs. and GCWR of 20,000 lbs. Following are prices for the 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 Mega Cab. 2006 Dodge Ram Mega Cab 3500 With ultimate payload and towing capability, the all-new 2006 Dodge Ram Mega Cab 3500 comes standard with a 5.9-liter Cummins Turbo Diesel mated to a new six-speed manual transmission. An automatic transmission is also available. Maximum payload for the Dodge Ram Mega Cab 3500 model is 2,970 lbs., with a maximum trailer weight of 15,900 lbs. and GCWR of 23,000 lbs. Optional equipment on the 2006 Dodge Ram Mega Cab SLT includes a power- sliding rear window, bedliner, trailer tow mirrors, power sun roof, power adjustable pedals, AM/FM stereo with six-disc CD changer and Infinity(R) speaker system, full-screen navigation radio, SIRIUS Satellite Radio, DVD entertainment system, UConnect(TM) hands-free wireless communication system with Bluetooth(TM) technology, bucket seats, six-way power driver's seat and 17-inch chrome-clad aluminum wheels. Dodge Ram Mega Cab Laramie The all-new 2006 Dodge Ram Mega Cab Laramie is the premium model in the lineup.
