New Vice President Named at BMW Manufacturing Corp.

SPARTANBURG, S.C. - Enno Biermann has been named vice president for North America Purchasing at BMW Manufacturing Corp. He will fill the vacancy created by the recent death of Klaus Atzler.

Biermann, 47, began his career at BMW as a trainee in the technical department in 1984 after completing his degrees at the Technical Universities in Munich and Hanover, Germany.

He has held several positions within BMW, including vice president of purchasing responsible for Sourcing Concepts, Total Vehicle Purchasing and International Purchasing, and general manager of Vehicle Projects, Small Cars.
