Aston Martin Jaguar Land Rover Canada Posts Increased Sales For April

BRAMALEA, ON - Aston Martin Jaguar Land Rover Canada announced an increase in year-to-date sales of 89 per cent compared with the same period last year. Jaguar reported year-to-date sales of 67 per cent compared with the same period last year led by strong S-TYPE and X-TYPE sales. Land Rover sales year-to-date increased 126 per cent, with sales led by Freelander. Jaguar reported an increase of 43 per cent for the month of April, while Land Rover showed an increase of 104 per cent, compared with April last year.

"The company is building momentum with a product-led growth strategy," said Bruce Rosen, vice president of sales for Aston Martin Jaguar Land Rover Canada. "We are producing terrific products that are making an impact in the luxury market, and this is reflected in our continued sales increases."

The new 2003 Jaguar S-TYPE range will go on sale this month in Canada. The all-new Range Rover will be available at Canadian Land Rover retailers in June.

Aston Martin Jaguar Land Rover North America reported record April sales for the organization totaling 8,253 vehicles sold, up 28 per cent.
