Great honour for Porsche Director of Finance

Holger P. Härter inducted as Royal Norwegian Consul

Stuttgart - The Porsche Director of Finance, Holger P. Härter, was inducted to the post of Royal Norwegian Consul at the Hotel Intercontinental in Stuttgart on Friday, 14th June 2002. During a splendid reception, the Norwegian ambassador Morten Wetland presented him officially as the honorary Norwegian consul to an audience of numerous renowned representatives of the worlds of politics and business.

Holger P. Härter will replace the Consul General Hans-Joachim Schmidtgen, who has retired after holding the post for 32 years.

The 46-year-old financial expert, who has worked as a director on the Board of Management at Dr. Ing. h. c. F. Porsche AG since 1996, regards his new post as a "great honour". He declared in his official speech that he is "excited by this new challenge" and is looking forward to "a successful working relationship with the Royal Norwegian Embassy".
