Continental Teves Secures Major Brake and Chassis Systems Contract AUBURN HILLS, Mich. - Continental Teves, a unit of Continental AG, announced that it has been awarded a high-volume program contract to supply the Ford Motor Company with advanced brake and chassis systems. The contract calls for Continental Teves to manage and deliver the complete brake system including front calipers, booster, park brake system, four-wheel anti-lock brakes (ABS), Brake Assist, and Electronic Brake Force Distribution, as well as the company's Traction Control (TCS) and Electronic Stability Program (ESP) technology. "This is a significant contract in that it allows Continental Teves to serve as the system integrator for another complete brake system, the fourth such contract we have earned with Ford," said Bill Kozyra, president, Continental Teves North America. "Our ability to provide automakers with systems solutions allows us to be true partners with our customers, further enhancing the quality and performance of the Continental Teves technologies in their vehicles."
