Ulrich Eichhorn appointed Member of the Board, Engineering at Bentley

Wolfsburg - The Volkswagen Group has appointed Dr. Ing. Ulrich Eichhorn (41) as Member of the Board, Engineering at Bentley Motors Ltd. in Crewe/England effective 1 March 2003. Eichhorn has been Head of the Research, Environment and Transportation Section, Volkswagen Group since 2000. A successor has not yet been named.

Eichhorn takes over from Hans-Joachim Rothenpieler (45), who becomes Head of Passenger Car Whole Vehicle Engineering at the Volkswagen brand in Wolfsburg with effect from the same date. Rothenpieler has been a Member of the Board at Bentley since 2000; prior to his present position, he was Head of Whole Vehicle Development at ŠkodaAuto.

Michael Dick (50), currently Head of Passenger Car Whole Vehicle Engineering at the Volkswagen brand, moves to Audi AG in Ingolstadt with effect from March 2003, where he will have a leading position in the management of the Technical Development.
