New Sporty Tribute With All-New Interior And Exterior
New body and interior colors, adopting metal tone interior Mazda Motor Corporation has freshened the interior and exterior of Tribute, creating a sportier and more stylish look. The new Tribute goes on sale today at Mazda and Mazda Anfini dealerships throughout Japan. With a roomy interior and distinctive styling, Tribute offers exceptional on-road maneuverability at a level not previously found in SUVs, while maintaining off-road driving performance. Both 2WD and 4WD versions are powered by a V6 3000 engine, first used for the light SUV. Tribute has won popularity with its powerful engine and handling response that is comparable to sports cars. Perfect for driving in the city, Tribute's refreshed interior and exterior design, along with its unique features, enhances its sporty and stylish image. The exterior has been enhanced through some body and cladding color changes. Discharged headlamps, which are approximately twice as bright as ordinary lamps, are available as standard equipment for GL-X. Black has been adopted for the interior of all versions, using mesh fabric for the seat center, and suede for the seat side and headrests (except for GL-X L package). A sportier feel has been created in the driver's seat, including a new designed meter panel with a silver ring for all versions. The GL-X and LX G packages have a metal tone center panel and a metal tone power window switch bezel (front door), all as standard equipment. Monthly sales target of the new Tribute is 1,000 units.
