De Jonckheere To Retire From Ford Motor Company 

DEARBORN Mich. - Terry de Jonckheere, president, Ford South America Operations and a company vice president, announced his retirement in the first quarter of 2002. 

His replacement will be the subject of a future announcement. De Jonckheere, 57, was appointed to his current position in January 2000. He joined Ford Motor Company in 1972 as a product design engineer in Heavy Truck Systems Engineering. Since, he has held a number of senior level positions in product development, manufacturing and international operations.

"Terry has made outstanding contributions to Ford during his various assignments in his 29-year career," said Carlos Mazzorin, group vice president, Asia Pacific Operations, South American Operations and Global Purchasing. "We thank him for his dedicated service and wish him and his family the best in retirement."
