Jean-Baptiste Duzan has been appointed Chairman and Managing Director of the new Renault-Nissan joint global purchasing organization
Jean-Baptiste Duzan will retain his functions as Senior Vice President, Purchasing and member of the Renault Management Committee. Jean-Baptiste Duzan was born in 1946. He graduated from the prestigious French engineering school, Ecole Polytechnique, and began his career in 1969 at Citibank. In 1975, he joined the International Bank for Western Africa (BIAO). He was appointed Director of Financial Services at Renault VI in 1982. In 1984, he became Chief Financial Officer at DIAC, then in 1987, Director of Financial Operations at Renault's Finance and Strategic Planning Department. In 1989, he was Project Director for Safrane. He has been Senior Vice President, Purchasing and a member of the Renault Management Committee since 1994. (April 2, 2001) [Homepage] [
