With its product
development, Continental AG satisfies the automotive industry's vigorous demand for
intelligent system solutions. We develop, produce and market high-tech solutions in the
area of chassis engineering and vehicle dynamics and supply modules and complete systems
to the automotive industry.
CONTRIBUTE TO THE (R)EVOLUTION
IN VEHICLE DYNAMICS
At our Hannover and Frankfurt locations we are engaged in joint
development of systems for total vehicle dynamics control, the "intelligent
tire" and electromechanical assemblies and systems. To assist us in the development
of brake and chassis control systems, we are on the lookout for engineers with
professional experience and qualified graduates. Maybe you fit the picture!!
Electronic Chassis is the mantra for Conti's future

DEVELOPMENT ENGINEERS
FOR ELECTRONICS/SOFTWARE Code ST 1
Control engineering and simulation: From concept
development and simulation of vehicle behavior (common tools: ADAMS, MATLAB/SIMULINK etc.)
all the way through to preparation and Implementation of suitable software components in
real time environment, for total vehicle dynamic control and electro-mechanical assemblies
and systems. As a university graduate in electrical engineering with a concentration in
control or vehicle engineering you have a solid background in microcontroller practice,
assembler and higher programming languages (ideally C,C++) as well as in real-time
software. Maybe you have already gathered experience in automotive electronics?
DEVELOPMENT ENGINEERS
ELECTRONICS/HARDWARE OR SENSORS Code ST 2
Circuitry and sensors: You design, simulate and build digital
and analog circuitry for automotive applications and develop switch and sensor concepts
for electromechanical actuators using programmable logic (FPGA) with modern CAE tools like
VHDL as well as microcontroller and hardware-related programming and EMV-compatible
design. In all your activities you collaborate closely with our external development
partners. You have successfully completely university studies in physics or electrical
engineering. You have experience in automotive electronics, circuit technology and in the
use of microcontrollers (FPGA and CAE). You are also well versed in C programming.
TEST ENGINEERS Code ST 3
Testing of components and total systems: Your job includes
comprehensive investigation of chassis systems in the lab and in the vehicle and involves
everything from planning and conducting tests on through to evaluation and interpretation
of the results. These then have an impact on product design. You are at home with
computer-assisted measuring technology. You foster intense contacts with customers and
internal units. You are a graduate engineer with a focus on mechanical engineering and
with a solid background in automotive engineering.
DEVELOP ENGINEERS
SYSTEMS DEVELOPMENT Code ST 4
Shape new technologies: You define and design systems for total
vehicle dynamics control systems, the "intelligent tire" and electromechanical
assemblies and systems. As part of a team you are responsible for the analysis of dynamic
operations and for the safety, reliability and availability of electromechanical systems.
To achieve this, you build up internal and external contacts and coordinate the
cooperation between different development areas. You have com pleted your studies in
electrical engineering preferably with a focus on mechatronics, control engineering
or mechanical engineering and have delved deeply into automotive engineering. You were
able to gather experience in simulation programs and verify results with road testing.
DESIGNERS Code ST 5
Forward-looking development: You design chassis components for
vehicle and components manufacturers. To this end you produce drafts, installation studies
and tolerance calculations and work out complete sets of drawings and design FMEAs. You
also prepare and monitor test orders. You act as liaison in finalizing details of
agreements with customers, suppliers and internal departments. Commitment that keeps you
going! You have successfully completed your studies with a concentration in mechanical
engineering/ design or mechatronics. You also have an excellent command of CAD/CATIA and
of computers in general.
RESIDENT ENGINEERS/
PROJECT MANAGERS Code ST 6
Promote the interests of customes and joint ventures: We are in
need of you for our customers and for our Frankfurt location. You coordinate project
activities for complete brake systems and lend support to development and documentation
processes. Your job is prototype development, support for systems development and
interface harmonization. You should have a graduate degree in mechanical or electrical
engineering, an excellent command of English to deal with our international contacts. For
this highly interesting assignment you will also need to be well-versed in automotive
technology and ideally experience as project manager.
We look forward to well documented applications from
committed men and women. Kindly submit your application to the location of interest to
