Mercedes-Benz CL Coupé: The new flagship model with unique technology and equipment

With the CL, Mercedes confirms its role as technological pioneer among automakers. The coupé is fitted with technical systems offered by no other car in the world. The most important is Active Body Control (ABC), an active suspension system. With the aid of electronically controlled hydraulic cylinders on each wheel, this system instantaneously adapts the springing and damping of the car body to the current driving situation. ABC virtually eliminates the otherwise customary squat, roll and pitching movements of the car body when starting from rest, cornering or braking.
