Rich Stoddart Named To Ford Marketing Communications Post
DEARBORN, Mich. – Rich Stoddart has been named the Marketing Communications Manager for the Ford Division of Ford Motor Company. In that role, he is responsible for developing and implementing advertising and consumer marketing strategies for Ford Division and its car, truck and sport utility nameplates. Stoddart succeeds Janet Klug, who was named Vice President of Global Marketing for Ford Motor Company in March 2001.
Stoddart is joining Ford Motor Company effective May 1, 2001, after working as Director of Account Management for Fallon Worldwide Advertising in Minneapolis, Minn. Previously, he was vice president and account director on the McDonald's advertising account at Leo Burnett Company in Chicago, Illinois.
"Rich brings a vast range of experience and talent to the Ford team," observed Cisco Codina, Ford Division General Marketing Manager in announcing his appointment. "He has a great reputation for leadership and creative flair in cultivating powerful American brands like McDonald's, Ralston-Purina and Lee jeans."
Stoddart is an American Government graduate of Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH.
